Skilled workers for production
With sensitivity and a steady hand — laser construction at its finest
Production tasks and activities
Building lasers
Laser construction can be learned—regardless of whether you only know laser swords from the movie screen or already have many years of practical experience in this field. The important things are sensitivity, a steady hand, and concentration. Just like Luke Skywalker's final lightsaber battle against Darth Vader, sensitivity, a steady hand, and concentration are what you need most.
Laser manufacturing
In our production facility, we build lasers ranging in size from a mini matchbox to entire cabinets. Not on an assembly line, but in series and also completely customized. Depending on customer requirements, size, and complexity, we build five lasers per day or one per month, depending on the product group.
Step by step through production
The production process can be divided into two steps: pre-assembly and final assembly, which—depending on the laser group—can be carried out by one or more people with specialist knowledge and experience. Pre-assembly requires skills such as splicing, gluing, and soldering, which are clearly explained in the work instructions. This means that anyone who has the patience and dexterity can get started. Final assembly then requires skilled workers who have experience in assembling complete systems. This includes everything from installing the mechanics and wiring the electronics to adjusting and measuring the optics.
